Meet Yael

Hi, I'm Yael - an Iceland-based photographer specializing in elopements, surprise proposals, and intimate couple stories set in some of the most breathtaking places on earth.

With a background in fine art and over a decade of experience behind the camera, I bring a calm, intentional presence to each shoot. I’m here to make you feel at ease, whether we’re standing by a glacier lagoon, chasing the Northern Lights, or hiking to a secret waterfall. My work blends natural beauty with honest emotion – no stiff poses, no forced moments. Just the real connection between you two, captured in a way that feels true to you.

Before moving to Iceland, I studied photography at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and I’m a member of The Icelandic Contemporary Photography Association. My artistic work often explores themes of memory, identity, and the relationships between people and place – and that same sensitivity shapes how I approach every love story I get to photograph.

This is more than just photography for me. It’s about creating a space where you can be fully present with each other, and then turning that into something you’ll cherish forever.
