Meet Yael

Hi, I'm Yael - an Iceland-based photographer specializing in elopements, surprise proposals, and intimate couple stories set in some of the most breathtaking places on earth.

With a background in fine art and over a decade of experience behind the camera, I bring a calm, intentional presence to each shoot. I’m here to make you feel at ease, whether we’re standing by a glacier lagoon or hiking to a secret waterfall. My work blends natural beauty with honest emotion – no stiff poses, no forced moments. Just the real connection between you two, captured in a way that feels true to you.

Before moving to Iceland, I studied photography at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and I’m a member of The Icelandic Contemporary Photography Association. My artistic work often explores themes of memory, identity, and the relationships between people and place – and that same sensitivity shapes how I approach every love story I get to photograph.

This isn’t just about photography. It’s about giving you space to slow down, really be with each other, and let something real unfold. I’m just there to catch it - and shape it into something that will still move you years from now.
